Can you advertise our event on your website?
We get many requests to do this but we do not provide this service
as there is no space on the site for adverts. We are happy for people to keep
us updated about their work but cannot promote it other than by providing web
links on our site.
Can you advise me about my creative writing, music, artwork
etc?
SALIDAA does not have relevant staff that can provide that kind of
feedback. We suggest you to go to your local adult education / community
college for this kind of practical advice. You can also look at our web links
pages where organisations and individual practioners are listed by art form -
some organisations may provide surgeries or one to one advice sessions.
Can you provide contact details for arts organisations and
individuals?
We are happy to provide contact information for organisations if
they do not have a website. Please check our web links section first before
contacting us; many organisations have websites and this kind of information is
readily available. We cannot provide contact information for individual
artists, writers, musicians and performers. Do check our web links section -
some practioners have websites and you may be able to get in touch directly, in
the instance that they do not have a website and you need to get in touch we
will pass on your email to them. Whether they respond or not is entirely up to
them and SALIDAA takes no responsibility for this.
Can you tell me about local events and classes in dance, art, music
etc?
Unfortunately, SALIDAA does not have access to this kind of
detailed local information. Check our web links page where organisations and
individual practioners are listed by art form. If you cannot find anything here
then your local council should be able to tell you about arts organisations in
the area who will know about community based arts events and classes. Your
local library and community centre would also be able to help find relevant
information.
